Crate Keys

Crates keys are items used to open crates. The content if each crate is dependent on the crate and can be seen located at NerddSMP spawn or in the package's description. It is recommended to view the crates content in-game (left-click on the crate) due to the ability to read the item's description better for custom items. Unlike a lot of other servers, crates on NerddSMP let you pick what reward you would like upon opening them to get rid of any paid gambling aspects on our server. There is a non-p2w way for every item found in creates to be obtained. No items found within the Crates are locked to the Crates, this means everything found in the Crates can also be obtained outside the Crates with enough time spent collecting the desired item(s).

Crate keys are typically given automatically 1–3 minutes after the payment is confirmed as long as the server is online. The buyer must also use the command "/redeem <cratename>" to redeem the crate key and use the key at the matching crate at spawn to open them. This is so you can buy the crate keys any time and decide when to redeem them.
